These must be what I bought at YAM THE CASSAVA Take Away in Acton, London in the early 90s. I'd never had a soft thick pancake type thing and I remember it's slight sweetness. I moved away but loved that Caribbean takeaway

Yes I did, but it should not matter what milk you use.

Yes the dough can be made in advance, you can even freeze it until you're ready.

Did you forget to put extra cinnamon
this was the one recipe on youtube that actually works well! I was able to make them and they turned out amazing. Even my wife, who is from a Guyanese background, was impressed and asked me to make them again the next day, because they didn't last long in our house.

I was in barbados years ago and I had pickle breadfruit and green bananas. Charles should not have salt because that's like sugar.And I hope he also exercises that helps alot

Looks good, i agree with Charles, I use the apple cidar vinegar in replace of white vinegar as well.
Looks lovely. In Barbados we sometimes pickle it the same way we pickled cucumber or pickled breadfruit, as a 'cold' side dish.

Reading that, lets me know making videos are well worth the efforts. So happy you're able to make you own sweetbread and brown stew chicken. The thing is to experiment with different recipes until you find the ones you really like.
